When you walk around with the intention of taking photos, you start to notice things you might not have otherwise. You start to see patterns. You notice a thing over here that you saw ten blocks that way. It took walking around with my camera for me to notice how many small signs of hope, of thankfulness, and of solidarity had propped up around San Francisco. Seeing them all in one place brings me a little bit of hope and makes this crisis easier to cope with. I hope it does the same for you.
